 Every time we reach a new season in our life, God allows new challenges to stretch us and to train us. The season the Church are in now is indeed a season of war, but never before has there been a time as this, at the end of the age. We may want to revert back to what we have learned through the years of spiritual warfare, but even in this it is easy to lean on our own understanding. We are to guard against that and lean only on Him who knows all things. New strategies and new weapons, all of these is only to be found in the one who is Wisdom. We are to look to Him.

 He takes us through the wilderness in order that we may reach Canaan. In Canaan we cannot be defensive, but offensive. We are to follow the Captain of the Hosts, knowing He goes before us. A childlike disposition, but the mind of a warrior, is required at all times.  This prophetic word is a call to cross over the Jordan into the land of giants. It is a call of ultimacy where we have to count the cost, but always to remember that He is with us.  This prophetic word is to say that even though our enemy may look the same, the season we are now in is that of a greater war and level, where Father will give us new strategy and weapons to come against the giants of the land.  This word is very dear to my heart, as this is the call He is making to His Fair Maidens to awaken the dawn and command the day. They are the children of the dawn who possess the land, and as the sun comes out of his chamber as a mighty man ready to run the race, so are they ready to run with Him. |
