Psalm 91 Prayer

Father, I thank you that you have given me free access to the throne of Grace through your Son. I thank you that I am hidden in Him with you and that I am in your hands. Nobody can take me out of your hands. I dwell in the secret place of the most High and therefore I shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. You hide me in You.
LORD, You are my refuge and my fortress. Your name is a strong tower into which I run. I hide in You and are always safe: You are my God; in You do I trust. You are for me and not against me. Surely you will deliver me from the snare of the fowler. When my enemy sets a trap or a net for me, he himself will fall into his own trap. What the enemy desires to use against me, you will use for good to make me stronger and to overcome. Therefore, I am not a victim, but your child whom you are raising up. You will deliver me from the noisome pestilence. I will fear no evil. I will not fear the reports of the enemy declaring sickness through media or through others, but I will believe and declare the report of the Lord. No sickness, no pestilence can come near You and I am in You. |
Thank you that even right now you cover me with Your feathers, and under Your wings shalt I trust: Your truth is my shield and buckler. No weapon formed against me shall prosper and every tongue that rises up against me I will condemn. Even those curses that have come through generations and through those who speak against me. For my inheritance is that I will stand at the gates and judge. You have given me all authority to trample on snakes and scorpions. I lift up the shield of faith, built upon your truth and declare your word that though the enemy comes against me in one way, he will flee in seven different ways. Your Word will never return void.
I will not be afraid for the terror by night. You cover me whilst I sleep and I will not fear the enemy attacking me at night. When I lie down, I will not be afraid and my sleep shall be sweet. I will not suffer night terrors or nightmares for you will sustain me during the night. You never slumber nor sleep. You who watch over Israel, watch over me. You cover my mind and sub-conscience with your blood and as the Word says, You giveth your beloved sleep. |
Also, though the enemy causes accusations, lies and attacks to fly like arrows by day, I will not fear what man can do to me. I forgive them Father and ask that you would show me any harmful disposition in my heart. I humble myself before you and know that you alone will lift me up. I will take every thought captive and bring it into subjection to your Word. I will be vigilant and watch on the walls of my soul continually.
I will not fear the pestilence that walketh in darkness. I will not fear that which I cannot see. I walk by faith and not by sight. Your Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light to my path. Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, you will light my path. You are always with me and will never forsake or leave me. You have redeemed me from the destruction that wasteth at noonday. My house, my family, my children and belongings, including my animals all belong to you. When the enemy comes against me, he comes against you. And you are the hedge of protection that surrounds me. I shall not die, but live! You have come to give me life and to give me life in abundance. Therefore, because I walk in obedience to you, I will receive the reward of the righteous. |
