Very often we are overwhelmed by our circumstances, whether it be our different responsibilities that weigh on us or maybe obeying Him in something specific. It is when we look to ourselves that we are overwhelmed. He longs that we would look to Him.

Who of us do not need a comforting word from our Father? Like apples of gold in a setting of silver, so is a word fitly spoken; and may I say, also timely.

These writings come from inspiration I receive in my quiet times as I ponder over my own trials. We are to comfort one another with the comfort we receive from Him.

He knows our frailty and that we are as a flower that fades. We need Him to speak to us His words of comfort, as He is the Great Comforter, our High Priest.
